About this product

The VTech VM819 never connects to WiFi or the cloud; it transmits over an encrypted 2.4GHz connection, per the listing. The 2.8-inch parent screen shows live video with infrared night vision, a sound-activated mode wakes the screen when there's noise, and the battery runs up to 19 hours of video. It also has two-way talk, a temperature sensor, lullabies and up to a 1000 ft range.

Why We Like It

A monitor with no internet connection is simple to set up and keeps video in the house.
